The inspection was jointly conducted by Taluk BEO, health inspector, doctors from Rotary Club KGF and Rotaract Club of SBMJC-KGF. After a careful evaluation of the college campus SBMJC-KGF was declared as a Swachh Vidhyalaya and the certificate was presented to the college principal Dr. Rekha Sethi.

Mera Swachh vidyalaya a program of Rotary India Literacy Mission and to support PM’s Swachh Bharat Campaign in school and in college level. Rotary club of KGF in association with Rotaract club of SBMJC-KGF organised Swachh Bharath rally on 11th of September from and to King George Hall via Geetha road, Gandhi Cricle and other popular streets in KGF. In this rally more then 1500 School and college students took active part by holding creative pluck cards and singing slogans. It was an excellent opportunity to create awareness about being clean and keeping our city clean. The rally marched through the popular streets of KGF creating awareness for the public and all the students got great response and the general public distributed sweets and chocolates for students and showed their support to this cause.
