On 9th of September Rotaract Club of SBMJC-KGF conducted their first collared meeting. The agenda of the meeting was to discuss about the about the school project, DLTW experience, co-hosting of antharagange trekking and induction of new member and new public relations director. The meeting started by 1:15pm and ended by 2:00pm and nearly 100 members attend the meeting which was proceeded by club’s faculty Co-ordinators and President of the club.

Mera Swachh vidyalaya a program of Rotary India Literacy Mission and to support PM’s Swachh Bharat Campaign in school and in college level. Rotary club of KGF in association with Rotaract club of SBMJC-KGF organised Swachh Bharath rally on 11th of September from and to King George Hall via Geetha road, Gandhi Cricle and other popular streets in KGF. In this rally more then 1500 School and college students took active part by holding creative pluck cards and singing slogans. It was an excellent opportunity to create awareness about being clean and keeping our city clean. The rally marched through the popular streets of KGF creating awareness for the public and all the students got great response and the general public distributed sweets and chocolates for students and showed their support to this cause.

This program is jointly conducted by Ministry of HRD and Rotary India to create awareness about Swach Bharath program among school and college students. Rotaract club of SBMJC KGF in association with Rotary club KGF had conducted Painting competition and Essay writing competition on 6thSeptember 2017. Under Swach Vidyalay program. This program is jointly conducted by Ministry of HRD and Rotary India to create awareness about Swach Bharath program among school and college students. In the competition nearly 50 students of our college had participated where 40 participants took part in Essay and 10 in painting.

It was pleasure for the School and the Rotaractors to meet again for new Agenda’s for the year 2017-2018. We have also included additional programmes likes Sports, Dance and Music for the over all development of students.They have also been taken special attention during the making of syllabus, keeping in point the overall curriculum of students. The School was more than happy with our last year’s approach and is looking forward to more exciting work!
