The Rotaract Club of SBMJC, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Atria IT, organized a heartwarming initiative called “Dear Soldiers” to express love and gratitude to the brave Indian Army personnel as we welcomed the New Year.

75 students and 10 faculties wrote heartfelt letters to the Indian Army personnel
The event was a huge success, with all participants enthusiastically writing letters to the soldiers. The letters were filled with emotions, gratitude, and appreciation for the soldiers’ bravery and selflessness. The event helped to foster a sense of patriotism and respect for the Indian Army personnel among the participants.

The Rotaract Club of SBMJC-KGF held a momentous 9th installation ceremony for the 2024-25 team, marking a significant milestone in the club’s history. The event brought together Rotarians, Rotaractors, and guests to visit witness the induction of the President, Office bearers and members of the Rotaract Club of SBMJC-KGF. The ceremony began with the arrival of distinguished Chief Guests, including:

4. Youth Service Director Rtn. Shobin R

   The induction ceremony saw the joining of 20 office bearers and around 50 members, who were welcomed in batches.
   The event showcased the spirit of service and fellowship that defines the Rotaract movement.

The Rotaract Club of SBMJC-KGF collaborated with Rotary Club of Kolar Gold
Fields, for a seminar on “lifestyle modifications for prevention of cardiac disorders”
The seminar was to educate the young generation to reduce their stress of heart
disease and improve overall health.

Around 170 students from SBMJC, 30 teachers from various schools, and 10 faculty from SBMJC were part of the event.

The guest speaker for the event was:

1. Dr. Yashwant A Lakshmaiah
   MBBS, M.D, internal medicine (cardiology)
2. Dr. Bharath Kiran
   MBBS, MDH (Anesthesia)

The Rotaract Club of SBMJC-KGF organized an awareness program on
menstruation on 13th September 2024 in the auditorium from 1:45 pm to 2:40 pm. The program aimed to dispel myths and stigma surrounding
menstruation, promoting a healthy and positive attitude towards this natural
biological process.

“Dr. Rohini Muralidhar, our distinguished guest speaker, shared her expertise on mensuration with us at the event.

To educate and raise awareness about menstruation and related issues among
students.

The awareness program on menstruation was a huge success, with an enthusiastic.

participation of 200 students.

The Rotaract club of SBMJC KGF had taken an initiative towards BLOOD DONATION CAMP, on occasion of National Youth Day.  Around 30 total donar’s  had donated and Dr.Majunath( Doctor’s  private Association, KGF) gave an awareness speech on Donating blood.

Rotary club of KGF had associated with Rotaract club of KGF along with General Hospital KGF.
