World no tobacco day  awareness program was organised by NSS unit of SBMJC KGF  in association with police department and lawyer association KGF on 31st May 2024. Dr Rekha Sethi principal Sri Mahendra Kumar CAO Dr L Jayapandian NSS program officer participated in this program

The Code of Conduct Committee, in association with the NSS Unit and the Robertsonpet Police Department, KGF, organised a Crime Prevention Awareness Programme on December 23, 2022, for the UG students. Dr. Jayapandian L. addressed the gathering. CI and SI spoke about the increased number of youth cautions for crimes such as robbery, assault, violence, drug abuse, and possession of weapons. They also added that the problem of committing crimes at a young age will greatly impact the future of youths in terms of education, career, and quality of life. As well as impacting their own lives, the victims of these crimes are usually innocent and often suffer the consequences of their actions, which could potentially be life-changing.

The NSS unit of SBMJC KGF in Association with City Municipal Council, Robertsonpet, KGF organised voters awareness program to the first time voters on 5th April 2024 from 11:30am to 12:10 pm in Room No.102.

Dr. L. Jayapandian NSS officer and Mr. Murali Kumar P. Department of Commerce were present.

100 students participated in Each batch.

Total 300 students participated in the program.

The IQAC and NSS Unit of SBMJFGC, KGF in association with Police Department, Robertsonpet, KGF organised “Drug Awareness Program” on 20th December 2023 in the conference hall from 11:00 am to 1:05 pm.

The program was hosted by Dr. B. K. Manjula Dept. of Kannada and vote of thanks was given by Mr. Nagesh P., Dept. of Kannada.

The Drug abuse skit was performed by final year degree students to create awareness among the student community

Total 350 students and 15 faculty members got benefitted

The NSS Unit of SBMJFGC, KGF organised the Remembrance of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar obituary day in the auditorium on 6th December 2023.

The Speech was given by Dr. L. Jayapandian NSS Officer, SBMJFGC, KGF and Ms. Anne Aruna Kumari Asst. Prof., Department of English, Dr. Sreenivas Prasad Asst. Prof., Department of Kannada, Ms. Kasturi L. Asst. Prof., Department of Commerce and Mr. Praveen SWA Officer were garlanded the photos.

Total 205 students and 05 faculty members participated
