We were fortunate to start the second batch of paramedical under the guide ship of Bosch . The course started from August 01^st 2021 for a duration of 3 months, with student strength of  25 in no.s

The duration of the course is categorized as follows: 1. First month: Online training. 2. Second month:  Offline training. Compulsory community visit to old age home. 3. Third month: On- the –Job training, assessment and interview sessions

Training sessions were handled by Ms. Anitha Richard, Certified Bosch Care Giver trainer. Soft skills sessions were handled by Ms. Shamala.  S , Certified Bosch Soft skills trainer.

Medical kit for the training sessions we issued by them on time on 1^st of August.  Totally 4 medical kits were issued, out of which 1 medical kit should be given to the oldage home as a part of our service.

Regular attendance are maintained for both trainer and students, and our updated to the co-ordinator on monthly basis.

First assessment was carried on 30^th September 2021, Second assessment was on 5^th October 2021, Interview session was handled on 8^th October 2021.

Results of the above will be released within 10 days, and placements continue.

Our college was recognized as one of the best training centre and we were selected among 500 plus institutions as the only institution in kolar district to run the General Duty Assistant (GDA) in collaboration with Apollo Med Skills India and NSDC. The course started with the intake of 20 students on 1^st December 2020 under the supervision of Our Principal mam. Co-ordinators Ms. Shamala.S – Cordinator   Mr. Albert Chares – GDA Trainer.

The duration is for a period of three months: 2months of training at the training centre and 1 month of internship in reputed hospitals as OJT (On the Job Training).

Attendance is maintained on daily basis based on the in-time and out-time of students. It is maintained for the co-ordinator and GDA trainer . Reports are sent on monthly basis to check the efficiency of students in the training.  On 28^th February 2021, the training was completed and the students were eligible to take up their intership as OJT in Sambhram Hospital, BEML Nagar, K.G.F. from 1^st March 2021

On 31^st March 2021, they completed their OJT successfully and were ready for Assessment.

Assessment was conducted by Apollo Med Skills along with Bosch ltd, on 5^th April 2021. It was a very effective assessment as it contained 2 vivas, one theory and one Group Discussion round.

Selected candidate list was released on 1^st May 2021.

Placement assistance is also provided by the same organization.

Due to this pandemic situation students were not able to be placed , but still one candidate got placed at Rainbow Hospitals , Bengaluru, as GDA.

Inauguration of Equal Opportunity Cell for the academic year 2021-2022 was organized on 6^th August 2021. Dr. Rekha Sethi, Principal, SBMJC-KGF addressed the students, followed by an awareness programme on “Stress and Time Management During Examination” by Dr. J. Anthony Gruce, M.com Co-ordinator, SBMJC-KGF, who briefed the students about the time and stress management techniques to be followed. Independence day celebration at SBMJC, KGF by NSS Unit all the Teaching and Non teaching Staff took part  in hosting our National flag on 15th August 2021 at 8:45 am.

Department of Computer Science students Participated Online Intercollegiate Cultural Competition UTHSAROTHSAVA organised by Bengaluru North University at Montfort College Bengaluru on 22nd July 2021.
