Objective of the Alumni Seminar 

• To develop and strengthen a feeling of fraternity and comradeship among the Alumni of College.
• To foster the spirit of brotherhood and comradeship among the alumni of the University
• To inculcate the values of the Alumni and their responsibility towards the society.
• To act as a channel of communication for information related to the members’ general interest.
• To form a link between its members, fresh graduates and Present students of Jain College and representatives of Industries, Associations etc.
• To co operate with and / or affiliate with other associations engaged in similar work in India or in other countries.
• To organize short duration courses of continuous education in various disciplines for the alumni / present students of the college.
• To organize workshops, seminars, conferences etc. on matters of topical interest.
• To set up and maintain an infra structure for the betterment of the college / its Alumni / its present students / libraries / information / services / placement cells.
• To give currier guidance for the present pursuing students.

The Department of Computer Science Organized Orientation Programme For I Year BCA Students 

on 20th July 2017

Objective of the orientation programme:

• Providing information and resources that will allow students to make informed and appropriate academic plans and healthy social choices;
• Creating a welcoming environment that builds a sense of community among the incoming class and connects them to faculty, staff and other students;
• Providing a framework for four years of success through the communication of expectations, norms and standards.
• To introduce students to college services which will support their educational and personal goals (ex. library, information technology, academic and student services departments).
•  To facilitate initial academic advisement, course selection, and registration.
• •To familiarize students with the campus environment and physical facilities.
•  To create an atmosphere that minimizes anxiety, promotes positive attitudes, and stimulates an excitement for learning.
• To provide a welcoming atmosphere for students and families to meet faculty, staff, and continuing students, as well as other new students.
• To provide the families of new students comprehensive information about the academic and student service resources and programs.
• To provide employment, leadership, and learning opportunities for continuing students as pack leaders, through selection, training, and supervision.
