To encourage the pursuit of arts and Creative minds among our students, the Women’s cell conducted Handicraft Exhibition competition for B.Com, BBA, BCA and B.Sc students. Students actively participated and the students won the prizes.
The English Literary Club organized a Pick and Speak Competition on Wednesday, 13th September 2017. Several students from the first, second and final year B. Com., B. Sc. and BBA participated enthusiastically. The English Literary Club organized a Pick and Speak Competition on Wednesday, 13th September 2017. Several students from the first, second and final year B. Com., B. Sc. and BBA participated enthusiastically. The varied topics covered a wide range from Benefits of Reading, Cricket- A Religion in India, E-waste Disposal, Swacch Bharath, Role of Mass Media, Computer Literacy, My Favourite Sportsperson, National Festivals, Good Manners and Discipline, English – A Global Language, etc. The impromptu speeches helped the students to articulate their thoughts and express themselves confidently.
On 9th of September Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College, KGF was declared as a Swachh Vidhyalaya under Mera Swachh Vidhyalaya Program initiated by Rotary India Literacy Mission and Ministry of HRD. The inspection was jointly conducted by Taluk BEO, health inspector, doctors from Rotary Club KGF and Rotaract Club of SBMJC-KGF. On 9th of September Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College, KGF was declared as a Swachh Vidhyalaya under Mera Swachh Vidhyalaya Program initiated by Rotary India Literacy Mission and Ministry of HRD. The inspection was jointly conducted by Taluk BEO, health inspector, doctors from Rotary Club KGF and Rotaract Club of SBMJC-KGF. After a careful evaluation of the college campus SBMJC-KGF was declared as a Swachh Vidhyalaya and the certificate was presented to the college principal Dr. Rekha Sethi.
