The Institution follows the practice of decentralization and participative management which is reflected in all the activities Organised. All the Stake holders of the Institution  including management, Governing Council, Principal, Faculty members Administrative Staff, Parents, Students and Alumni work in a democratic way governance following the rules  and accountability in execution  in execution of their duties & responsibility. 

Case Study: Placement Committee

Vision:

Placement Committee envisages and idea of inter face between industry requirement, vis a vis student aspiration in that the right person for the right job is ensured, making sure the industry benefits from the students in terms of taking up roles and responsibilities and contributing the growth of the organisation.

Mission:

  • To ensure Maximum placement
  • To groom the students and make them aware of current scenario of various industries
  • To Maintain good liaison with the recruiters
  • To develop strong analytical and competitive skills

Objective of the Placement

  • To Provide career Guidance about avenues open after graduation.
  • To provide recruitment to students.
  • To Organize Pre -Placement Training providing Training & Placement process awareness to First year students.
  • Planning and Organizing  various placement drive in the campus
  • To build the bridge between industry and academic.

Policies

  • Students of the final year are eligible and entitled to get placement via campus drive.
  • The college gives at least three opportunities to every student offer to every students in general. Once the student is placed with any company the students is not allowed to take up any other campus drive.
  • Students should undergo pre-placement Training before campus Recruitment.
  • The students should a bide by rules and regulation during the placement process (or) else disciplinary action/penalty charges will be taken.

A senior faculty member will be nominated as the placement officer and a committee is been formed this will be forwarded to Governing Council for Approval. Companies will be invited by the Institution and campus drive will be conducted, every year more than 50 percent students will be placed in various companies according to the stream.

TREK TO HEALTH

ON  28 NOV 2024 Rovers and Rangers unit of SBMJFGC-KGF organized trekking to students of Rovers and Rangers unit of SBMJFGC-KGF to Byatararayanahalli  hill. 

10 Rovers and 17 Rangers actively took part in trekking.The trekking was carried for the fitness of Rovers and Rangers and followed by swachhata Karyakram at Sri byatararayanaswamy temple.

Mr. Babu, District organizer, Mr. Manjunatha T C, KGF BSG secretary with their team, Mr.Nagesha, Rover Leader, Ms.Sangeetha D S Ranger leader, Ms.Elizebeth Rani Ranger leader took part in trekking with the students.

Outcome:

  • Students were taught about the physical fitness and its uses in daily life.
  • Created awareness regarding hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Conducted activities which included play, fun and creative thinking.
  • Students also actively participated in acting song. 

Discrimination and Intolerance by Human Rights Cell

Human Rights awareness cell program was conducted on 10/12/2024 efficiently under the guidance of Principal Dr. Rekha Sethi and Dr. Jaya Pandian with the student strength of 200 students. The program was highlighted with the theme “Discrimination and Intolerance”. Essay competition was conducted on the same. Collection of information through chart making was presented by the students. Motivational videos on the above theme were played to encourage students to know more about human rights and its significance. Prizes and certificates were distributed to winners and participant students.

Objective of the session

About the session
Graduate must be able to communicate ideas and develop a strong Emotional intelligence.  The session gave insights to the students to gain knowledge about emotional skills which makes them more adaptable in the competitive work place.
Outcome of the session.
The session helped the students to know the importance of Emotional skills and they got to know about the concept of Emotional skills like stress management, building trust, verbal commination at work place in the digital enabled office.
