Chief Guest Note: Spoke about the E-Waste and advantages of it and motivated the students using new technology invent new devices, appreciated all the students models done using E-waste and spoke about collect the E-waste form students and send it to recycle instead of thronging it in garbage.
Madam spoken about drawback of E-waste if we through it in garbage it create air pollution and it affects human health.
Objective of the Program: The major objective of e-waste management is to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Some of the e-waste consists of valuable covering or materials inside which can be reused or recycled. Whereas some of the e-waste may contain hazardous chemical materials which should be disposed of carefully without causing harm to nature.
Models Done by Students Using E-waste:
- Iron Man: Components used Motherboard, Keyboard keys and LED lights data cables & sata cable
- Miniature: Components used: Resistors, Capacitors, inductors, diode, Transistors, Heat sink, Breadboard, IC’S, CD.PCB Board, Keyboard keys & Aux port
- Drone: Components used: Keyboard keys, Motor, cell, receiver board & Joystick.
- Samurai Robot (SR)2 : Components Used: Mother board, Keyboard, CPU Fan, Cables, LED Lights, SMPS & CPU Cabinet.
- Dragon: Components Used: Keyboard Keys & Mother board.
- Owl : Components Used: Keyboard keys, CD & Wires.
- LED Flower vas: Components Used: Copper wires, bulb holder, LED, & Battery.
- Clock: Components Used: CD Drive, CD & Keyboard keys
- Wireless receiver Car : Components Used: Transmitter board, Receiver board, Motor, Wheels, Keyboard Keys, & Battery.
Invitation card : Components Used: Keyboard Keys, CPU Fan, Mother board, Aluminum wire & diodes
Outcome of the E-waste Program: E-waste recycling is necessary but it should be conducted in a safe and standardized manor. The acceptable risk thresholds for hazardous, secondary e-waste substances should not be different for developing and developed countries.
