The Annual Athletic Meet is the showcasing of hard work, perseverance, leadership, winning and sportsman spirit.With this motto, Annual Athletic Meet of SBMJFGC, KGF was inaugurated on February 04, 2025 with great zeal and spirit.
Mr. Venkatesh B. V., Secretary and Founder of Shwetha Vidya Samasthe, Bennavara, KGF were the chief guest of the ceremony. The athletes led by flag bearers along with Senior Head Boy, Head Girl and Sports Captains, rendered salute to the chief guest and principal during their majestic March-past.
The Devotional song was sung by Ms. Anjali Devi and dance performances by Kumari Haritha Priya.
The Olympic flame held by the ace performers was finally handed over to Mr. Venkatesh B. V., who lit the Olympic flame where as Dr. Rekha Sethi, Principal SBMJFGC, KGF declared the Athletic Meet open. The oath to participate with loyalty and full dedication in the spirit of a true sportsmanship was administered by Senior Sports Captain Deepan Vel.
Mr. Venkatesh B. V. addressed the gathering and conveyed his best wishes to the participants and emphasised that winning is not important, will to participate with true sportsman spirit is what required.
In second half, Senior Sports Captain Deepan Vel welcomed the chief guests Dr. Rekha Sethi, Principal, SBMJFGC, KGF, they felicitated the winners of various events and appreciated the efforts of athletes in setting the new records.
