The members of the Indian Red Cross Society observed “NEW GENEVA CONVENTION DAY” on 12th August 2017. The Chief Guest for the day was Dr. Manjunath, Orthopedics. He addressed the gathering about the importance of celebrating New Geneva Convention Day and the role of Indian Red Cross Society towards the humanitarian services and he also highlighted the seven fundamental principles of Indian Red Cross Society such as Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary service, Unity and Universality. He motivated the members for their voluntary service to the mankind at the time of need. Dr.Rekha sethi, the Principal who also shared her view about the importance and the role of Indian Red Cross member towards the humanitarian services.
